Abstract

The factory is a place teleologically oriented toward achieving its goal, which is always maximum profit; in every factory, the logic of profit, that is, the will to power, overpowers the logic of feelings, that is, social sentiment. Workers, especially those who enter the production cycle at an early age, perhaps immediately after compulsory schooling, and who have been educated by parents with factory experience, tend to construct a reality that more or less corresponds to the reality of the factory, which pushes them to a greater or lesser extent towards a decoding of the whole society in antithetical terms such as superior-inferior, powerful-powerless, high-low...In the current organization of the production process, therefore, there is particularly fertile ground for the development of neurotic forms, and IP, more than any other approach, can contribute to proposing a model of factory organization that goes far beyond the current one, transforming the factory of neuroses into factory
