This article focuses on analyzing the psychological consequences of children with hearing loss. The authors emphasize how normal psychophysical development is closely linked to the integrity of sensory abilities. Hearing loss can lead to delays in intellectual development, emotional and behavioral disorders, facilitating the onset of feelings of inferiority and insecurity. Children may react to these difficulties through defense mechanisms and compensations, which can be positive, negative, and in some cases pathological. The main objective of this study is to provide a clinical contribution from an Adlerian perspective, focusing on early intervention, family involvement, and the analysis of parental affective attitudes
