The issue of commissioning in child psychotherapy plays a crucial role in the treatment of children and adolescents, often influenced by family members or groups involved in the patient's conflict. This paper explores three different therapeutic positions in dealing with commissioners, presenting two illustrative clinical cases: a 9-year-old girl with a school block and a 12-year-old adolescent with anorexia problems. It highlights the importance of flexibility in treatment to promote the well-being of the young patient without compromising the relationship with family members
