Abstract

The use of C.A.T. in early childhood is a valuable tool for investigating the lifestyle of children between the ages of 4 and 8. This tool overcomes the difficulties of verbalization and abstraction typical of childhood, using tables with pictures of animals that facilitate the identification and expression of emotional experiences. The analysis of the responses allows for the exploration of family, relational, and social dynamics and potential conflicts, offering ideas for therapeutic interventions. The data collected demonstrate the effectiveness of the C.A.T. in the psychodiagnostic context, providing valuable insights for understanding the psychological development of children
