Keywords:

The article starts from the assumption that children show their most authentic selves when playing and therefore tend not to do so during school hours. Teachers often ask psychologists to observe their classes and identify which children are problematic, perhaps even finding solutions for them. This creates expectations and disappointments among teaching staff. Instead, it will be essential to establish close collaboration with teachers, who will need to acquire basic knowledge of psychology, and then with the children themselves through deep empathic understanding. In conclusion, all schools should implement the concepts of scouting in their internal operations: laughing, fighting, eating. In this way, through free and spontaneous play, it would be possible to observe the goals and desires of children at school as well
