Reflections on the training process in cynical psychology are presented, offering content and considerations on methodology, objectives, and the needs of psychologists in training. Training is a dynamic process divided into three independent and interdependent stages: basic training, professional development, and continuing education. Particular attention is paid to training in dealing with situations of transference and countertransference. Finally, the usefulness of the exchange made possible by participation in analytical supervision groups is emphasized, in which the flexibility of communication, diagnostic precision, the setting up and verification of the therapeutic project, and the analysis of transference and countertransference are perfected
