Open access policy
All articles published by the Journal of Individual Psychology are available to Italian-speaking readers and searchable in all parts of the world. All the considerable scientific capital, which in the more than fifty years of the Journal's life has accumulated to several hundred articles, can be consulted online at no cost
- The Journal thus follows the Open Access formula that allows each user free and full access to all articles published in the Journal of Individual Psychology
- Everyone is free to reuse the published material. Any part of the article may be reused without permission, as long as the original article is clearly cited with the Author, Title, Journal Title, Number and Year of publication
The purpose of the decision to allow Open Access of the Journal lies in the belief in the importance of the circulation of ideas on psychic functioning proposed by Individual Psychology. In addition, the scientific development due to the studies and experiences made over more than fifty years by Adlerian Analysts and Psychotherapists can be the basis of further insights
From the beginning of the Journal's publication, the choice has been made to cover the costs of the publication exclusively from the membership duespaid annually by the Members and from any liberal disbursements from the supporters of the Journal. No other form of funding, either private or public, has ever been used.
The speed with which the Journal is now searchable is a result of the availability of online. All issues that can be consulted online have a paper counterpart, regularly sent to S.I.P.I. Members.
