Abstract

Beginning with the original conceptions of Adler and continuing to the more recent contributions of Individual Psychology or other explanatory models (e.g., the intersubjective model, from Stern to Gallese), one can conceive of the transformative processes of change in psychotherapy as related to a set of nowmoments in the here-and-now of the setting. These in fact encompass in themselves not only the present and actual aspects of the therapeutic relationship, but also the events of the subject's history and the development of the therapeutic relationship
