PERSONALITY DISORDERS IN ADOLESCENCE: EVIDENCE-BASED AND EVIDENCE ORIENTED TREATMENTS

Abstract

The contribution intends to propose some reflections on the evidence about the treatment of personality disorders in adolescence. Starting from some preliminary considerations based on clinical experience, we have examined the publications, which have been indexed on Pub-Med in the last decade. Some indications and lines of intervention evidence- based and oriented are therefore summarized.
Finally the treatment model of DPAA Center (ASL TO4, Settimo T.se, TO) is described, particularly referring to Sequential Brief Adlerian Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (SB-APP)
