First, the constructs of self-object and narcissism are examined within the theorizations of Kohut and Kernberg, the concept of self-prosthetic objects is then introduced, differentiating the internal ones incorporated in a Self characterized by a borderline personality structure from those external features of a neurotic personality structure. This concept is then brought into the current social reality characterized by an increasingly predominant role of Artificial Intelligence which is also being approached by robots that can perform social functions. The danger of an implementation in the latter of a strong Artificial Intelligence (which for now does not exist and it is not known whether it will ever be introduced) which makes androids increasingly similar to humans is highlighted. This opportunity is called the day of fornication. The danger is not so much intelligent machines, but how much intelligence humans will attribute to them. Models that simulate empathy and good communication skills are already being produced. This situation can contemplate the possibility of constructing android replicas of humans with the qualities of these and without the defects that could be exhibited as the true representatives of those individuals in the context of increasingly impoverished social relations on a human level.
