The editorial outlines the foundations of the S.I.P.I. (Italian Society of Integrated Psychotherapy) approach, which is characterized by the transition from eclectic psychotherapy to structurally integrated psychotherapy. The core of the model lies in the integration of various perspectives (biological, psychological, and socio-cultural) within a coherent theoretical framework based on Phenomenological-Existential Anthropology. The author explores the concept of "integration" not merely as a synthesis of techniques, but as an epistemological process aimed at understanding the complexity of the person. Particular relevance is given to the "Theory of the Self" as a clinical compass to guide therapeutic intervention across different forms of psychopathology, emphasizing the importance of a unified and global vision of the human being
