Doctor-patient relationship and mutualistic medicine

Abstract

The article describes some implications of the doctor-patient relationship, with references to the social situation of the time and the conflict with authority/father figures. The dynamics of mutualistic medical care are interpreted from an Adlerian perspective, with proposals for psychological training for doctors to promote a more balanced relationship that is attentive to patients' needs
