The article discusses the use of the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) in psychodiagnosis during childhood and adolescence to identify, according to Adlerian methodology, the main characteristics that define the subject's lifestyle. The general criteria for selecting the tables based on the age and gender of the examinee and the methods for administering the test are explained. The authors explain the main factors considered in the interpretation of the stories and provide three clinical cases of subjects in developmental age (from 8 to 13 years), reporting anamnestic summaries, T.A.T. protocols, and related interpretations of the emerging lifestyle
