Abstract

The article presents an experience of indirect treatment for the prophylaxis of mental disorders in a female micro-community in Casal Monferrato, emphasizing the importance of a personalized and socializing environment. The program hosts seven adolescents, and the educational staff lives within the facility, welcoming girls with family problems and previous institutionalization. The approach aims to promote personal safety and affective-emotional maturation through group dynamics and empowerment, reducing the expression of affective and social disorders. The involvement and support of the educators becomes a key element in the therapeutic process, offering the minors a positive choice of identification. The experience conducted shows a clear improvement in the girls' interpersonal relationships and social maturation, with positive repercussions also on their work activity
