Abstract

Individual Psychology as an open model is analyzed by the author in relation to the organicist conception of biology, which sees every organism as a dynamic system of mutually interacting parts, which are also open systems. According to Individual Psychology, humans are open to the world and the social dimension in which they are immersed. The individual self emerges from the social process through a teleological perspective. The reflection continues on the importance of using the open model, coinciding with the logic of social feeling, considered the core of the Adlerian approach, both in terms of theory and psychotherapeutic strategies and operational techniques
