The psychosocial impact on sexual behavior and prospects for revising certain psychopathological concepts
Keywords:

Analysis of the psychosocial impact on the sexual behavior of modern individuals reveals how certain psychopathological concepts are undergoing a profound revision. In particular, homosexuality, traditionally viewed as a pathological deviation, is being reexamined in light of more contemporary approaches that recognize the influence of psychogenetic and biological factors. Although moral and social norms continue to regulate sexual expression, new perspectives seek to reattribute meaning and acceptance to behaviors that were once stigmatized. This study therefore offers an overview of current cultural transformations in relation to sexuality and changes in the way it is interpreted at a social level
