This paper explores male impotence as a complex psychological construct arising from a series of socio-cultural and individual factors. Through observations of patients, it emerges that social pressure on men, combined with feelings of inferiority and relational dynamics, can contribute to the onset of the disorder. The roots of feelings of impotence manifest themselves in experiences related to aesthetic standards, family expectations, and socio-economic tensions, suggesting that impotence may represent a compensatory mechanism rather than a simple failure. This study offers insights for a deeper understanding of male experiences in a modern context
