Abstract

This paper addresses the complex issue of logical and analogical communication in psychosexology. A sample of subjects affected by various sexual disorders was observed for an average period of eighteen months in a psychotherapeutic outpatient setting. The research highlights the importance of analogical, or nonverbal, communication, which includes gestures, facial expressions, and postures, and how it interacts with logical communication. The domain of analog communication emerges as crucial for the affective-emotional well-being of the couple and for the harmonization of sexual interactions. The work concludes by emphasizing the importance of synergy between the two forms of communication in addressing and resolving sexual dysfunctions and improving interpersonal relationships
