Impotence, fear of homosexuality, frigidity, and other elements of sexual disharmony as components of the neurotic lifestyle
Keywords:

Impotence, frigidity, and fear of homosexuality are neurotic symptoms that can be interpreted as manifestations of deep-seated discomfort expressing inner conflicts and complex relational dynamics. The Adlerian view invites us to consider the sexual sphere not as a problem in itself, but as part of a set of disharmonies that reflect a neurotic lifestyle marked by insecurities and fears. Through a clinical case, we highlight the importance of integrating these aspects into therapy to promote effective processing of one's identity and interpersonal relationships
