Abstract

Sexuality in older adults is influenced by multiple biological, psychological, and social factors that vary between the sexes. This study analyzes how life experiences, cultural values, and changing social dynamics affect the perception of sexuality in individuals over the age of 60. Psychological distress related to this issue can lead to different compensations, ranging from rewarding work to depression. The differences between men and women are highlighted, showing how cultural traditions and social roles influence the experience of sexuality in old age
