Experience of “mediated” psychotherapy in a psycho-pedagogical team

Abstract

This study explores an experience of mediated psychotherapy in a psycho-pedagogical team operating in the province of Vercelli. In a socioeconomic context characterized by limited psychological services, the intervention focused on collaboration between psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and teachers. Through the analysis of specific cases, the importance of an integrated approach to the treatment of psychological disorders in children, which also involves parents, is highlighted. Mediation between professionals and families has led to significant results, improving communication and family dynamics.
