The word counseling refers to situations where the client presents a problem directly, a request that will determine a counseling response focused primarily on conscious behavior. This activity is compared to that of first aid and, for this reason, should not be treated superficially by inexperienced personnel, because in reality it determines the development of all subsequent orientation choices. Counseling in the school environment can be either individual or collective, but it always aims to develop social awareness, which can improve and promote a non-competitive school environment
