Training and pseudo-training of the analytical psychotherapist

A distinctive feature of analytical treatments is that they aim to reduce the symptoms presented by the patient, making them aware of their root causes and through a particular emotional relationship between analyst and analysand. In psychotherapy, we often see phenomena such as censorship or the modification of certain content for self-defense, and it is for these reasons that therapists must develop a solid academic background, but also, and above all, through personal training. The debate on the most effective training in psychotherapy is still very much alive, supported by a wide and varied choice of training pluralism. Even when it comes to didactic analysis, conflicting views can arise between different approaches, with requirements that are often not very objective
