Abstract

This article immerses us in the family atmosphere of the founder of individual psychology thanks to the stories of his daughter. Through some intimate and unpublished descriptions, it is possible to imagine the more human and personal side of Alfred Adler. What emerges is a man with an extroverted, curious, altruistic, extremely sociable, and helpful character, capable of transmitting universal values to his children and the people he regularly spent time with. This demonstrates, as Herta Orgler intended, that Adler's doctrine is also unquestionably an expression of his lifestyle
