“Pandemic Emotions”, traces to not forget

In planning the issue of the Review we present, it was deemed important to continue reflections on the subject of the pandemic, in the belief that its long round would continue to accumulate difficulties to which due attention should be paid. However, during the months of preparation of the contributions presented here, the situation of the pandemic picture has evolved; research on the virus has achieved results quickly, unhoped for at the beginning of the pandemic (vaccines, it was said, require years of experimentation), and social life has improved.
The vaccination campaign, launched amid initial organizational difficulties and fearful skepticism cisms, gained momentum and the barometer of collective imagination registered on the good weather. The perception of our fragility has diminished, confidence in the power of science regained momentum and tempers gradually relaxed.
