Abstract

Covid-19 had a severe impact onto individual sexuality: the opportunities for relationships and encounters decreased and pre-existing fragilities emerged.
Scientific literature points out various critical issues about the sexual domain for heterosexual couples and an increase in the gap of inequalities for LGBTQ minorities. Brief clinical samples are showed up to demonstrate the creative issues and adaptive initiatives between patients. Others hight light the “neurotic” attachment to the pandemic as an excuse to postpone challenges and openness towards relationships.
Finally, sexuality reveals the interest in bonds in a historical moment characterized by limits and impositions. The use of technology during Covid points out the question about the "goodness" of the devices currently available to cultivate our need for relationships, between virtual and real, as professionals and individuals, about our openness to society, to start over and to heal pre-existing wounds that, in some cases, the pandemic has made it more evident
