THE JELLINEK AND MURPHY’S PEDIATRIC SYNPTOM CHECKLIST (PSC) IN THE ADLERIAN NETWORK MODEL

Abstract

The questionnaire investigates the child's daily life in different areas of school, family and relationships with peers, identifying existing problems. The recognition of them in several areas of investigation is indicative of a risk of psychosocial disorders for which the checklist is a valuable psychopathological screening tool for the pediatrician and the educator, provides valuable material to the researcher and, involving parents, reminds them of the important role they play in the therapeutic and educational alliance. In fact, this tool can create and strengthen those connections and synergies that are now more than ever necessary to optimize the many means of communication available
