THE ETHNIC CLEANSING: THE ULTIMATE AIM OF THE XENOPHOBIC AGGRESSIVENESS

Abstract

The war among ethnic groups, which has been blood-staining ex-Yugoslavia for two years, has induced the author to go on with a subject he had already discussed. After noting that the concept of race is now refused by the biological anthropology, the work observes the most important theories about aggressiveness, comparing them with the adlerian point of view and it concludes with the analysis of the specific theme: the xenophobic aggressiveness. Starting from the primitive tribes, he values the influence of the social group on aggressive pulsions of the indivi- duals of the community and the importance of the chieves who were in power to mantain the com- pactness and the strenght of the group. At the end the work notices that the violence of a group against another group, only guilty to belong to a different culture, is explaining with the subduing of the social interest of every individual by the collective will to power, according to a deceptive sense of justice
