The Tempest, one of the most significant novels about our times by Emilio Tadini, has been adapted and brought to the stage by Andrée Ruth Shammah at the “Franco Parenti Theater” in Milan. Played by a masterful Piero Mazzarella, Prospero is a metropolitan character who feels the need to tell his story as if in an analytical session to a journalist: the stage space thus comes alive gradually filling with the images he manages to pull out as if from a magician's hat in a magical memory game that inexorably dissolves in the “here and now” of the theatrical event the Aristotelian units of space and time
