THE THERAPEUTIC AGENT IN BRIEF PSYCHOTHERAPY ACCORDING TO IN DIVIDUAL PSYCHOLOGY

Abstract

The problem of the therapeutic agent and process in brief psychotherapy is argued according to Individual Psychology orientation. It is questioned if a specific attitude is required for the therapist who means to work with brief treatments. The particular importance of the aspects linked to the perspective valuations and to the sense of the crisis is underlined. Then, the functions of empathy and creative identification are considered like onset of the therapeutic agent.
We propose the issue of the specific training for this kind of therapy because of social-cultural changements, the growing demand  for brief treatments by the health care services and also for newareas of application
