The story of the birth of Società Italiana di Psicologia Individuale is the same of Francesco Parenti and Pier Luigi Pagani. These two doctors of Milan have always devoted themselves to operate, to develop and to train following the inspiring principles of adlerian psychology. Their realizations and their ideas have been an important presence in the italian culture the last thirty years.
To face the study of their work we are impressed by the extraordinary parallelism with the social care towards child-hood, adolescence and psycho-pedagogic problems, work of proselytism and divulgation which characterized Adler’s life and work
