Abstract

The present issue of the Review comes out a few weeks after the conclusion of our Society's National Congress. The event deserves to be recalled here because the issues addressed there connect in their underlying logic to what is presented in the pages that follow. The fil-rouge that unites the sense of the proceedings of the Congress to the articles that make up this issue is part of the fabric of our being Adlerians: the passion for understanding psychic complexities, which, moreover, is an indispensable characteristic for those who want to operate effectively and competently in the taking care of mental suffering
