Abstract

In an agile and concise review, the relationship between dream and art is examined. After the revolutionary discovery of Freud, who used dreams to explore the unconscious, however, it was the wide-raging interpretation of Adler’s dreams that made them a tool for understanding man and his vision of the world. The text, supplemented as it is by a rich bibliography and by the indication of masterpieces of paintings, can constitute a valid starting point for further study
