The subjective perception of time is essential to understanding depression. On one hand, time could be considered as a language used by the individual to narrate his way of entering into contact with the world, life and change. On the other, depression is connected to an experience of real or affective loss, that conditions individual perception and representation of time, creating the fiction of misfortune in the mind of the depressed person. I will use these assumptions to show what time tells us about depression
