Keywords:
unconscious, wandering, labyrinth, viaggio, inconscio, incognito, spazio, relazione terapeuticaAbstract
Starting from etymology of the word “unconscious” we lead the reader to the meaning of “unknown”. Then we consider, by Wandering, Labyrinth and Mountain metaphors, the analytic and psychotherapic processes as an exploration of a “terra incognita”, that is patient’s individuality . Along with this travel, the patient trusts an expert guide and his instruments: the analyst and his theoretical and technical knowledge.
Then we represent Individual Psychology as a “tool” to use while wandering, instead of a “final goal” to reach and to show because of it’s objective existence
