Abstract

Anorexic and maniac patients try to avoid their individual life and history using physical or psychical lightness. At the same time even contemporary society is running away from collective history and memory. It’s possible to develop an encouraging and therapeutic relationship with patients only by the refusal of this tendency and by an interpretation of these psychiatric “illness” as part of their individual history and memory
