Abstract

We cannot but take note of the far-sighted relevance of Alfred Adler's thinking, who, the progenitor of the sociocultural strand of depth psychology, first prefigured the holism and relativism of Einstein's quantum physics, speaking heretically and courageously of the relational mind, the creative therapeutic couple, of cultural aggression, of phenomenological subjectivism of fictions, but also of feelings and emotions related to dissatisfaction, insecurity, and the feeling of inferiority, which he considered no longer as a point of weakness, but as a driving force, as a motivational principle, precisely, of psychic life
