Abstract

Everyone goes in search of "something missing," pursues his own monomania, his own fixation, his own elusive internal images, his own fictitious goals:empty schemes, projections of his own hidden desires.
But is this really man's destiny? To dialogue exclusively with himself in a long, unstoppable, mute dramatic solo, unconsciously interposing between the Self and the Other than Self a certain "optimal distance" that, through varying degrees of intensity, signals an unease that expresses itself in the form of separation from the world and reality? A kind of magic circle, self-created as a means of safeguard, thus surrounds the individual, preventing him or her from coming into contact with the reality of life, from facing the truth, from measuring oneself against certain difficulties, from carrying out an examination of one's own worth, and from making any decisions
