Abstract

In the international literature on personality disorder, suicidal and etero destructive behaviors “seems to appear” unpredictable in narcissistic personality disorder, while several predictive factors of suicide risk are underlined for other personality disorders. This article means to propose psychopathological and psychodynamic reflections, according to the adlerian individual-psychological approach, on the eventual factors that can foretell suicide risk or etero destructive behaviors in narcissistic personality disorder. In particular it is discussed, through the presentation of some clinical cases, if an increase of the obsessive symptomatology could be a predictive factor for the suicide risk
