Abstract

Individual Psychology, like all depth psychologies, cannot escape a continuous epistemological reflection on its conditions of possibility, rigor and reliability, as well as an indispensable work of linking the "past" and the "present," between "tradition" and "change."
Never before have the theoretical principles of Individual Psychology flourished like fertile, fruitful and creative seeds in all their modernity: antidogmatism, causal finalism, phenomenological subjectivism, the feeling of limit-inferiority, the imaginary and the "as ifs," unity conceived as coherence between the individual parts, the Self-lifestyle, psychotherapy understood more as art than science, the relational mind, the process of empathic encouragement, the unrepeatability of the dual analyst/patient encounter, which is difficult to falsify, the creative Self, the creative therapeutic couple
