Starting from the presentation of three clinical cases, the concept of a black swan understood as an unpredictable event is described. From here the need to keep the events of human existence under control both thanks to criteria of predictability and thanks to the search for perfection. The construct of fractals which according to some AA. it could be useful for unraveling chaos theory. The relevance of the case at the level of observation of genetic, sociological and psychological phenomena is then illustrated. The conditioning role of digital tools in the individual functioning of attention which is focused on certain issues to the detriment of others is also described. Finally, the possibility of a black swan that could appear shortly on the horizon of psychotherapists is described
