Abstract

The author, using by analogy with the Adlerian strategy, which he borrows from Vaihinger, a Neo Kantian philosopher, the concept of “as if ”, of fiction - the Nietzschean perspective of Amor Fati-tries to promote a new way of analytical and psychotherapeutic approach, which could lead to a consistent achievement and to the outcoming of the complex path of the neurotic subject. The current research would like to sound either as an in-depth analysis of the typical Adlerian topics or as whispered criticism of the society-individual dilemma or the trend towards self accomplishment seen in contrast with the feeling of belonging to a community. The author however, after having introduced the positions of the phenomenology and of the existential analysis, which show common significances with those of the individual psychology, throws lights on a basic difference as far as the social feeling in particular is concerned. Getting into the depth of the therapeutic process according to the Adlerian principles, the author takes into consideration the meaning of encouragement that stands at the basis of the change of the individual life - style. He recommends the overcoming of the perspective tied to the social feeling in and promotes a solution that goes beyond and completes it according to the Nietzchean concept of “Amor Fati”. He analyzes the number of stages and times in which this essential change that is supposed to lead to the overcoming of the neurotic organization. Love for our own destiny is seen as the climax of a positive psychotherapeutic process not only according to the Adlerian principles but as something ineluctable and very hardly achievable in the neurotic conflict dilemma
