THE EMOTIONAL RESONANCE OF THE PSYCHOTHERAPIST IN RELATION TO AN ONCOLOGICAL MINOR PATIENT

Abstract

This study analyze the emotional resonance of the psychotherapist in relation to an oncological minor patient, through the direct experience in a pediatric department of a hospital in Turin. Bring back the private and subjective experience it seemed a possibility, which could allow to feel and to reflect on a basically involved area in the treatment and care of cancer patients: the internal and deep emotional experience that requires the type of work with these patients. This processing must be deeply experienced by the psychotherapist, developed and supported in his training to become an instrument of genuine and professional work in the relation
