THE ALLIANCE WITH DEFICIT: A POSSIBLE CHANGING INSTRUMENT
Keywords:
therapeutical alliance, regression, creative selfAbstract
It's in the interpersonal relationship, especially in deep and empathic interaction, that problems of regression are in
analysis played. According to Individual Psychology, it's in the transferal/countertransferal relation, sum of all the experiences taken in the relation, that the pattern of interaction is reactivated. Generally in regressions, during the analysis, an archaic need for affections emerges, that requires a "careless ability". When we talk about regression as a therapeutical agent, we must mean a "backward movement", supported or even induced by therapist: a movement addressed to review the Self/Lifestyle, holder of a new changing experience. The regressed subject would be, infact, partly conscious and partly unconscious of his own needs of dependences and the obvious aspect of these needs would be mixed to deep defences that would make their gratifications even more difficult. Therefore, the empathic alliance with psychological deficit, puts itself as a possible changing instrument of character, when it sets in relation with the dynamics of regressive dependence
