The following work originates from the material accumulated over the last 6 years, in supervision and comparison meetings of a group of 11 psychotherapists who, at different times, have treated patients with Borderline Personality Disorder attending the Personality Disorder Prevention and Therapy Unit (UPT-DP) of the ASL TO3 using the SB-APP. The material has been schematically rearranged to isolate some aspects inherent in complexity, difficulty and fatigue and which have been discussed also using notions obtained from the literature. Subsequently, using knowledge from research on the mother-child relationship, on interpersonal neurobiology and on the evidence of the altered relationship between patients with DBP and their interlocutors, an in-depth study on the development of enactment, countertransference, also with regard to the somatic side, has been attempted
